I checked my voicemail earlier and came across a message from a Louis Vuitton sales rep who was calling to notify me that the bag for which I had placed myself on waitlist FOUR WEEKS AGO just came in.

What a beauty! I don’t know about you, but I am completely obsessed with handbags — especially Louis Vuitton. I tend not to spend much on clothes, or shoes, but for handbags I more than splurge. It’s pure insanity how much these bags cost, I know, but my rationale is that they never go out of style and you use them everyday. Clothes, I tire of after a couple of wears, and they look raggedy on their own after a couple of washes. But LVs last forever! It doesn’t help that this bag in particular is sold out everywhere, including online. And it’s at the LV boutique on hold for me as we speak! I have to think fast because it’s only on hold until tomorrow…. Were this bag under $1K, I might cave on my mission, but since it’s priced at $1,800, as hard as it is to pass up, it’s ironically a little easy, too.
